Nancy Walters and Lucy Liew were accepted into the juried show "Birds and Bees, Fur,
Feather and Fins" at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto. 668 Ramona Street, Palo Alto.
The show is a month long and closes July 6th.

Enjoy the last weekend of summer at the 33rd Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival. Voted one of the best festivals in San Jose. Nancy and Lucy will each have a booth. Stop by and say hello.

About Us

The Alameda Artworks is a community of artists. We are located at 1068 The Alameda, San Jose, 95126. We have over 30 artists at this location. Please check the individual artists links, on the right side, to see our websites!

History

First built as a Municipal Auditorium the atrium building that is now The Alameda Artworks Studios was originally the site of San Jose municipal meetings, conferences, theatrical and musical performances. Since then, it has gone through several transformations.

The building is also fondly remembered by some San Jose residents as the Auditorium Roller Rink. The beautifully refinished hardwood gallery floor is the original surface on which San Jose skaters happily whirled.

Most recently it was purchased by Mr. Falko Forbrich, whose patronage of San Jose artists has made it a home for artists working in many mediums.
